Multiplier training for development youth work in Hamburg

On 21 and 22 November 2015 the multiplier training takes place in Hamburg (multiplier: person, which gives information in further education events). This is organized by the european playwork association / Europa JUGEND Büro and the Engagement Global GmbH (Außenstelle Hamburg) in cooperation with Kipaji – Educational Development.

The workshop concentrates on the presentation of development policy topics, models and theories in which their own experiences are also incorporated. In doing so, the advanced training combines theory and practice, in order to implement the learned as well. In the end you get a certificate and are able to design and carry out your own workshops.

The Agenda 2030

The workshop is based on Agenda 2030 adopted by the United Nations (UN). In September 2015, a total of 17 SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) were called out. The focus is on combining the concept of sustainability with economic, ecological and social development. The workshop is intended to provide participants with the tools to implement these goals at local and regional level.

The course of further education

The seminar will start on Saturday, 21 November, with the basics and the conception of workshops. There is much discussion here, for example on the role of a speaker. On Sunday, 22nd of November, the learned methods will be applied and their own workshops will be compiled using checklists. Possible obstacles are discussed in detail.

When, where, who, how much, what?

The workshop will take place between 9 am and 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday, 21 and 22 November 2015, in the W3 workshop for international culture and politics (Nernstweg 32-34, 22765 Hamburg). Speakers include Kipaji founder Jendrik Peters and Cindy Fischer. The registration is 10 November 2015. A fee of 10 Euro is due for the participation, including materials and meals.
